This website is operated by E.L.I. Publishing & Literary Services ("we," "us"), publisher of books by Mercy Marlowe under the Marlowe Press imprint. What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us:

Email address and name — when you join the mailing list, sign up for an advance review copy, download a free book or bonus chapter, or contact us.

Order information — if you purchase a book directly from this site: your name, email, shipping address, and the details of your order. Payment is handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not buy data about you from anyone.
Like most websites, our hosting platform may automatically log basic technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) and may use cookies for site functionality and simple analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to do the things you asked us to do, and nothing else:

Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe any time. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and one click removes you. You can also just email us and we'll take you off the list.

See, correct, or delete your information. Email us at mercymarlowe7@gmail.com and we'll tell you what we have about you, fix it, or delete it. We'll respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK, and California), you may have additional legal rights over your personal data. We honor reasonable requests from everyone, regardless of where you live.
Data retention

We keep your email address for as long as you're subscribed, and order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted, we remove you from our active lists promptly.
Where data is processed
- We are based in the United States, and the services we use store data primarily on US servers. If you are outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Age
- Our books are written for adult readers, and this website and mailing list are intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
- If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top and, for meaningful changes, mention it in the newsletter. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
